In a large saucepan, heat ghee over medium heat. Once hot, add onion and apple. Sauté until onion is lightly browned, 5-6 minutes.

Add cabbage to pan and cook 15 minutes.

Add the rest of the ingredients, with about 1/4 cup of water.

Boil an additional 5-10 minutes until sauce reduces a bit.

Remove from heat and serve immediately. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
